Surely if you watch golf on TV you’ve seen Ro Davies, Sales Manager here at the Whistler Golf Club talking to you about group outings of 12 or more players. The Whistler Golf Club is the place in Whistler for group outings of all types. From buddy trips of 12-20 players to full corporate shotguns and charity events; our golf course, service team and location make the Whistler Golf Club the first choice for great group outings and tournaments.
But that’s not all. If you simply pick up the phone and call or drop us an email, your golf and hotel are free. (Okay you’ll have to do a little more than call us but not much, and you can take all the credit for a great event!)
Here’s what you have to do:

That’s it. Honest. We’ll do the rest.
“But don’t I have to collect the money from everyone or put down a deposit on my credit card?”- Only if you want to! Otherwise no.
“C’mon there’s got to be more to it?!”- Well a little but not much. If you don’t want to chase up payment from the players in your groups we will set up a unique web site for you. Your players can pay their package fee online, which may or may not include the green fee, carts, rental clubs, food and beverage, prizes …. you decide. We’ll build the package for you and your guests simply purchase it on your own group web site. Easy!
“But I’m not sure what type of event to hold?” We are group outing experts. Describe your group to us and we’ll plan a great day for you. Here are only a few examples:
Very good players: Two man team challenge. Par points. Four man 2 ball best ball. Or the popular “just go play!”
Mid- level players: Par points, scramble, team best ball, just play.
Players that have never met and of various levels: Four player team scramble. Beginners play from our beginner gold tees- fun for everyone.
Players without a lot of time: 9 hole scramble!
Of course contests like closest to the pin, long drive, longest putt are all easily organized for your group. We’ve got great prize suggestions as well (Ask Ro for a free prize!)
From NHL and other charity events, stags, buddy trips and PGA events we’ve hosted it all. We are coming off one of our best weather, course condition and group outing years in our history –read more here– and expect more of the same in 2016.
