The Arnold Palmer designed Whistler Golf Club is now open for it’s 35th year of operation. The Palmer course got it all started for golf in Whistler back in 1983 with the resort now boasting 4 championship courses.
Having seen numerous renovations and improvements over the years, the club looks forward to another great year in 2018. “Pre-season bookings are strong” said Alan Kristmanson, General Manager. “The course wintered very well. We look for strong opening conditions in May.”
NEW FOR 2018
“We are adding a few new tee boxes to help with pace of play and to improve the teeing grounds on some holes” said Alan. “We’ve also changed our green fee rate structure to dynamic pricing. This will allow our guests to pick a time of day and rate that works for them. The earlier they book the better rate they will find”
The Range at the Whistler Golf Club, home to the Whistler Golf Academy is now open for the season. Duncan Savage, Head Teaching Professional has a full program of private lessons and group clinics ready to go for the season. Our popular Nike Junior Golf Schools are filling up fast so guests are encourage to register today.
Palmer’s Gallery Bar and Grill is now open for private events and will open for daily service May 11th. Featuring one of Whistler’s best patios, Palmer’s looks forward to another great season. Chef Eric has some surprises is store for 2018 so stay tuned!
